Resumption of Assemblies

Based upon the information available to us now, the elders are pleased to announce a phased-in resumption of our worship and bible study assemblies over the course of August and September, as follows:

August 23rd and August 30th  – Resume assemblies for Sunday morning worship services and adult auditorium bible class only.  All other bible classes, including Wednesday night, will remain on live stream and Zoom. In short, this is the same approach we followed when we first resumed our assemblies last June 7th.

Start of Quarter (September 6th) – In addition to our Sunday morning worship services and adult auditorium class, we will resume all Sunday morning classes. In short, we will resume our pre-pandemic Sunday morning assemblies.  However, we will not yet resume our Wednesday night assemblies. As we have done over the course of this pandemic, we will continue to offer our Wednesday night classes remotely through our existing live streaming and Zoom broadcasts.

Protocols: For the present time, we will continue to follow the protocols which we previously set forth last June, i.e., no visitation in the building, social distancing, etc.

Future Wednesday Night Assemblies: If all goes well, we hope to resume our Wednesday evening assemblies at some point later – possibly in September or October.

If circumstances change, we will of course alter our assembly decisions accordingly.  Thank you so much for your patience and support.   Pray for a safe resumption of our worship and bible class assemblies.

“[Praise to the God of All Comfort] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”(Daily Reading, ESV)
